Camps and Project Specialist or Summer Front Desk Assistant - Summer 2026 - Work Study or Regular Pay

There are 2 separate positions available for summer 2026:

  • Camp and Project Specialist (CPS)
  • Summer Front Desk Attendant
  • Applying will include you in the pool for both positions unless you express a preference for one over the other.

Basic Information for both positions:

  • Time Frame: May 19-August 10th
    • Optional additional week until August 14th
  • Pay Rate:  $13 per hour
  • All positions include possible nights and weekends on a rotating basis.

Initial application deadline is Monday, February 16, 2026 as interviews will begin around February 23, 2026. 

More information for each position:

Camp and Project Specialist (CPS) - Works with our Summer Camps to assist with check ins, check outs, preparing for camps, as well as provide campus-wide duty in occupied buildings during camps.  The CPS staff will also assist with some projects throughout the summer that includes Summer Hall student check-in & check-out, key audits, possible furniture moving, etc.  Anticipated average of 30-40 hours per week.  Also provided in the CPS position is a single air-conditioned room during the summer.  CPS staff are required to live on campus and therefore this housing is included in the position at no cost.

Summer Front Desk Attendant - Will provide support to University Housing via Front Desk(s) for packages, camp operations and guest housing operation.  This position will assist in preparing check in packets for camp participants and serve as the first point of contact for camp participants during the business day. These staff members are not required to live on campus but summer housing is available for University Housing Spring or Fall 26 contract-holders for an additional cost. Anticipated number of weekly hours is 20-30.
