Summer 2026 - Strategic Pricing & Market Access Intern

As part of our mission, we are seeking motivated undergraduate students to join our summer internship program at our Cambridge, MA office. As a Strategic Pricing & Contracting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in how Ipsen develops and implements pricing strategies and contracting solutions to ensure patient access and optimize business performance. This internship provides exposure to the critical role Value & Access (aka Market Access) plays in shaping market access strategies, supporting negotiations, and driving sustainable growth across therapeutic areas.
We will not consider graduate students or undergraduate students graduating before December 2026. We are also not providing housing support so students will need to provide their own housing over the course of the 11-week program.
Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations
- Participate in a three-month program on the Strategic Pricing, Marketing, and Operations team within our Value & Access (V&A) organization located in the Cambridge, MA office
- Help drive the success of our innovative medicines across our three therapeutic areas (Oncology, Rare Disease, and Neuroscience)
- Develop an understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry today, as well as the challenges and opportunities that will drive the future of Ipsen
- Develop analytical models that help fuel data driven decision making, taking into account several well founded assumptions and accounting for variable market events, develop models for breakeven analysis, tipping points, and scenario planning
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies
- Develop project management and change management skills while supporting key V&A initiatives
- Develop an understanding of key metrics and key performance indicators of V&A
The hourly pay rate for this internship is $30 per hour.
