Business Office Manager
Premier Real Estate Services II, LLC is a rapidly expanding real estate construction firm specializing in Multifamily construction. As we scale, we are committed to moving away from manual workflows and embracing cutting-edge automation. We are looking for a forward-thinking student from Connecticut college residence in order to help bridge the gap between traditional construction management and modern digital efficiency.
Role Overview
We don't just want someone to file paperwork; we want you to rebuild how that paperwork moves. As our Process Automation Intern, you will analyze our current manual workflows in accounting and project management and implement automated solutions to increase accuracy and speed.
Key Responsibilities
You will work directly with our Operations and Finance teams to modernize the following areas:
Invoicing & Billing: Transition manual data entry into automated workflows that trigger upon milestone completion.
Job Cost Reporting: Create real-time dashboards that pull data from field reports to show live budget vs. actuals.
Tracking Systems: Automate the tracking of permits, vendor insurance certificates, and material deliveries.
Software Management: Audit our current software stack (e.g., Procore, QuickBooks, Excel, or Buildertrend) and use tools like Zapier, Power Automate, or API integrations to make them "talk" to one another.
Process Documentation: Create simple "How-To" guides for the team to ensure the new automated systems are used correctly.
Qualifications
Current Student: Enrolled in Information Systems, Construction Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and an interest in "No-Code" or "Low-Code" automation tools (Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.).
Problem Solver: You enjoy looking at a messy, manual process and finding a way to make it click into place automatically.
Communication: Ability to explain technical shifts to team members who may be used to "the old way" of doing things.
Why Join Us?
Hands-on Impact: You won’t be getting coffee; you’ll be building systems that stay in place long after your internship ends.
Mentorship: Work directly with company leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.
