Part-time Production Technician

KTSF-TV is seeking a part-time, on-site, Production Technician for live, Chinese language evening newscasts, working Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 11:30pm (20 hrs/wk.) Schedule is subject to change. 

Responsibilities:

Operate and playback graphics, subtitles, audio and video during live newscasts. (Training will be provided)

Create and develop graphic design elements for TV and website.

May cross train in other departments and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

Proficiency in reading/writing English and Chinese

Creative problem-solving under the pressure of a live newscast

Ability to organize, manage workflow and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of Chyron graphic software and Adobe Creative Suites is preferred.

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in design or broadcast communication preferred.

Salary Range:  $20.00 - $23.00/Hour
