ABOUT YOUR INTERNSHIP
Join a rapidly growing and innovative department within Sterling that specializes in advanced tax planning solutions for clients with highly appreciated assets. As an intern, you will gain exposure to a niche area of financial planning, charitable strategies, tax concepts, and operational design within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
You will work directly with senior leaders, contribute to active client work, and develop practical skills in project management, documentation systems, and professional communication.
A major initiative underway is the creation and refinement of departmental procedures and client file structures. Interns will play a meaningful role in this effort by:
- Documenting workflows,
- Organizing and standardizing critical operational information, and
- Helping shape a scalable internal system that supports the department’s growth.
Because our team is small and our service line is expanding, interns have a unique opportunity to contribute to foundational operational work that will impact future team members and clients. You will also have the chance to observe leadership discussions, including quarterly goal-setting meetings, which will provide firsthand insight into how a small, specialized team operates and makes strategic decisions.
Our internship program is designed to support your professional development while allowing Sterling to benefit from your fresh perspective, analytical mindset, and organizational strengths.
