Animal Care Intern

Join Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary, located in the heart of beautiful East Texas for an exciting 90-day internship, structured across four quarters/terms. This position offers invaluable experience in the zoological field.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning animal enclosures

Preparing diets for the animals

Animal training & enrichment

Performing light maintenance tasks

Assisting with educational tours

Interns will be responsible for the daily care of various exotic feline species, including tigers, lions, servals, pumas, and bobcats and several species of native wildlife. This diverse training provides a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and gain extensive hands-on experience.
