Location: Sacramento & surrounding areas (retail grocery stores)
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience, with opportunity to increase

Role Overview

We’re looking for friendly, reliable Brand Demo Representatives to introduce shoppers to Ancient Sun through in-store sampling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, telling a simple product story, and representing a premium food brand with warmth and confidence.

Most demos are 4-hour shifts at natural and specialty grocery stores.

Responsibilities

• Set up a clean, inviting demo station in accordance with store guidelines
• Pour and serve small samples of Ancient Sun date shakes
• Engage shoppers in a friendly, low-pressure way—inviting curiosity, not hard selling
• Share basic product information (ingredients, flavors, origin story, dietary attributes)
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout the demo
• Break down the station and leave the area clean at the end of the shift
• Provide brief post-demo feedback (what shoppers asked, which flavors resonated, etc.)

Ideal Candidate

• Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable talking with strangers
• Punctual and dependable
• Interest in food, cooking, culture, or natural/gourmet products
• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
• Able to lift up to ~25 lbs (small coolers, supplies)
• Food handler certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
• Prior demo, sampling, or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not required
