A Park Young Adults Resident provides leadership and support to the community and discipleship-focused ministry of the Park Young Adults team. This involves coordinating recurring or standalone events, building new relationships, discipling young adults, and giving spiritual direction.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Coordination & New Relationship—Building

  • Create contexts for Young Adults at Park to meet, relate, and grow
  • Recruit Young Adults to weekly and monthly events
  • Invest relationally into the lives of young adults at Park outside of formal events, with workplace visits and meetups during the week.
  • Foster relational growth and development across the group and between young adults

Discipleship & Spiritual Direction

  • Provide relational and leadership presence at Park and in the Denver community.
  • Design plans and environments for Young Adults at Park to be with Jesus and follow His way of life
  • Discern with Young Adults what they need in their discipleship from you, the Park staff team, and/or others
  • Strengthen young adults’ ability to own and initiate their pursuit of Jesus in Park Church at large
