Missions Resident

General Description

The Missions Resident helps fuel Park Church’s local and global mission by supporting key outreach events, developing leaders, caring for volunteers, and helping tell the stories of what God is doing through our church and partners. This role combines hands-on ministry, event coordination, cross-cultural engagement, and relational investment.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Missions

• Support Missions & Outreach Nights by helping shape content, projects, and environments that highlight Global & Local Missions and our Global & Local Partners.
• Assist in planning and coordinating Missions Trips, Vision Trips, and Partner Visits.
• Invest in Advocacy Teams by participating in one team and helping develop, encourage, and care for its leaders.

Outreach

• Support and help manage the Gospel Community Grant process—encouraging and equipping groups to serve their neighborhoods.
• Provide relational and logistical support for our CarePortal Team, helping connect volunteers with real needs in our city and ensuring they feel encouraged and equipped.

Missions & Outreach Storytelling

• Collaborate with the Communications and Storytelling Teams to gather updates, testimonies, and stories from partners and members.
• Help curate compelling content that helps the church celebrate what God is doing locally and globally.
