Account Executive Intern

Cartwright International is a prestigious boutique CPG brokerage specializing in niche, specialty, and high end brands across Food, OTC, Cosmetic, Beauty, and Hearth and Patio categories. We partner with emerging and established brands to help them grow through strategic retail placement and sales execution.

We are hiring a Sales Intern to work directly with experienced CPG sales professionals. This internship is structured as a hands on apprenticeship and provides real exposure to retail sales, account management, and brand strategy. Strong performance may lead to a full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior sales executives with account support and sales initiatives

Help prepare sales decks, retailer presentations, and line reviews

Conduct market research on retailers, competitors, and product categories

Support pricing analysis, promotions, and sales tracking

Participate in calls and meetings with buyers, distributors, and brand partners

Learn day to day operations of a CPG brokerage and retail sales process

Qualifications

Current undergraduate student or recent graduate

Majors of interest include Business, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or related fields

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organized, detail oriented, and reliable

Interest in consumer products, retail, and sales

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace preferred
