As a Storage Integrity Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting our GTM Storage Integrity team by gathering and analyzing data that helps us protect and optimize our natural gas storage caverns in Texas and Louisiana. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-world assets, contribute to important projects, and develop valuable skills that will help launch your career in energy. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are passionate about energy, eager to learn, and looking to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Placement Details:
This is an 3 month placement starting in June 2025, located in Houston, TX.
What you will do:
- Dive into the basics of gas storage cavern integrity and use your new knowledge to help plan and carry out important integrity projects.
- Help keep our documentation organized and up to date, making sure critical information is easy to find and use.
- Get hands-on experience in the field by supporting the execution of integrity work plans alongside experienced team members.
- Collect and organize data that directly informs how we maintain and improve the safety and performance of each cavern asset.
- Review and update documentation with insights and data gathered from your fieldwork, ensuring our records reflect the latest information
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying {Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering} and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
- Participate in hands on learning by traveling to at least one cavern field site
Working Conditions:
- Office based role, located in Houston, TX.
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
