Analyst
The Asia Group, LLC (TAG) is accepting applications for an Analyst to join our Seoul office. This is a full-time position with a three-month probationary period. The Analyst will support the Seoul team and work closely with colleagues in TAG’s Washington, D.C. office.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic, market, industry, and political research and analysis, including business due diligence
- Draft memos, briefs, and background materials in support of client deliverables
- Track regional political developments and market and industry trends affecting clients
- Provide logistical and project support as needed
Required Skills and Experience
- TAG is seeking highly motivated candidates who have completed—or are working toward a master’s degree, MBA, or a law degree (JD/LLM).
- Outstanding research and writing skills
- Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and quick turnaround
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including demonstrated fluency in PowerPoint
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach and eagerness for professional development
Preferred Focus and Expertise
- Strong grasp of political and economic trends across multiple Asian markets
- Working knowledge of U.S. Government agencies involved in foreign policy
- Private-sector experience—or demonstrated interest—in business and investment issues in Asia, and/or relevant public-sector experience
- Professional proficiency in Korean and English
Job Benefits
Analysts at The Asia Group are paid and include health and other benefits. Candidates must be eligible to work in Korea. This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and is expected to be in-office on a daily basis. Contract length is negotiable and the initial contract term may be extended through mutual agreement.
