Help create a slick, cutting-edge music app! 

MyStage is an innovative musictech platform dedicated to connecting musicians, fans and venues. We are creating new financial opportunities for bands and building the most comprehensive music event discovery platform for fans.

To support this work, we are adding interns for for development of product features using FlutterFlow (Flutter/Dart/Firebase).

Compensation: $20–$30/hr in equity based on portfolio quality and experience level. This is an early-stage startup that just launched our MVP on the app stores. Working through investment conversations now to transition to paychecks.

Skills / Experience

Required:

  • Solid understanding of mobile app development principles.
  • Experience with React and Firebase.
  • Currently pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Programming or a related field.
  • Completion of at least three years of related college coursework and significant project experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Primarily: Firebase, GCP, APIs, React Native, GitHub, FlutterFlow, Flutter, Dart
  • Secondarily:   NoSQL, Android Studio, Swift, XCode, React, mobile app development, Solidity

Expectations

  • Learning Initiative: Before starting, you would be required to familiarize yourself with FlutterFlow
  • Three-month internship: If mutually agreed upon, this can be extended.
  • Time Commitment: Ability to commit to 20+ hrs / week
  • Collaboration: Be proactive and communicative within a collaborative team environment.
  • Academic Integration: Internship can be performed as part of class projects if allowed by your institution

Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly meetings
  • Collaborate on proposed features mentioned above
  • Receive assigned feature development tasks as designed and scoped by Project Manager
  • Estimate time for tasks
  • Deploy Code
  • Participate in code reviews
