Events & Community Intern
Events & Community Intern (Paid)
Early Burdz grew to 15,758 guests in 2025, expanding to 23 cities nationwide. We host museum mixers, gallery events, and curated getaways—creating real-world experiences for professionals and creatives who value art, conversation, and connection.
We operate with a lean team and move fast—using AI tools, custom tech (like our chat app), and operational excellence to coordinate 400+ events/year across the country. We’re looking for an Events & Community Intern to help keep our events running smoothly and our community engaged as we scale.
This role starts as a paid internship, with the potential to grow based on fit and performance.
Role Overview
You’ll work closely with the core team to support live events, community touchpoints, and behind-the-scenes operations. You’ll own real responsibilities that directly affect the attendee experience.
Pay: $17/hour
Time: 8–10 hours/week
Location: Remote (some in-person exposure if you’re in an active city)
What You’ll Do
- Support event setup and execution
- Help monitor and support live events
- Engage lightly with the community via DMs, replies, and reminders
- Flag issues, patterns, or friction points you notice in events or flows
- Help keep operations organized, timely, and detail-oriented
You’ll see how high-volume cultural events actually run — and help make them better.
Who This Role Is For
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented people
- Self-starters who don’t need constant direction
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Interested in events, community-building, and real-world experiences
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with real responsibility. People who do best here take ownership quickly and learn by doing.
