Sales Development Representative
Buzze helps multifamily owners and operators deploy and manage EV charging across their portfolios. Our mission is to help put 1 million EVs on the road by rapidly scaling EV charging at multifamily properties across the U.S.
You’ll be joining Buzze as our 10th full-time team member and the 4th hire on the Sales team, playing a meaningful role in building our outbound engine and accelerating company growth.
Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will own top-of-funnel outbound efforts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying affordable housing developers and property managers. You are the first point of contact for prospective partners and a critical driver of pipeline creation.
This role is built for someone who thrives on clear goals, high activity, and measurable results, and who is motivated by both performance and mission.
This is an in-office role 4 days out of the week at our 3200 E. Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ office. 1 day remote on Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
- Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers in affordable housing
- Execute high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Leverage Buzze’s internal databases and data tools to build targeted prospect lists
Lead Qualification & Meeting Booking
- Engage prospects to uncover needs, pain points, and EV readiness
- Qualify opportunities and book discovery meetings for the sales team
- Ensure meetings meet Buzze’s qualification standards
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce)
- Track progress toward weekly and monthly activity and meeting goals
- Manage personal pipeline to ensure consistent output
Collaboration & Optimization
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and targeting
- Share insights on objections, customer pain points, and competitive landscape
- Continuously test and optimize outbound strategies for efficiency and conversion
Success Metrics
- Book 8 qualified meetings per week with target Buzze partners
- Leverage and optimize a repeatable outbound playbook using Buzze data and tools
- Consistently improve outreach effectiveness and conversion rates
Compensation & On-Target Earnings (OTE)
Base Salary: $60,000–$70,000
Meeting-Based Commission:
- $100 per qualified meeting booked up to quota
- $150 per qualified meeting booked above quota
Quota: 8 qualified meetings per week
SDRs who consistently hit quota earn at the top of their compensation range. High performers who exceed quota can meaningfully out-earn OTE through over-quota bookings. Compensation is directly tied to measurable performance.

Qualifications
Experience
- 1–2 years in outbound sales, SDR, or business development
- Experience in SaaS, clean tech, or real estate is a plus

- Bachelor’s degree is a plus, not required
