Position Overview

Alliance Funding Group is seeking a Business Development Manager early in their career who brings a hunter mentality and a strong desire to build their own book of business. This role is designed for recent college graduates or emerging sales professionals who are competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance-based growth.

This is a front-line business development role with clear expectations: generate opportunities, build relationships, and learn how to originate and close commercial finance transactions from the ground up. Successful candidates will receive hands-on training, exposure to senior leadership, and a defined path to long-term ownership of production.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively source new business through outbound calling, prospecting, and relationship development.

Build and manage a personal book of business with vendors and referral partners.

Learn to structure and present financing opportunities aligned with Alliance’s credit appetite.

Partner closely with Credit and Operations to move deals from submission through funding

Maintain pipeline activity, reporting, and forecasts within CRM tools

Attend industry events, tradeshows, and client meetings to grow market presence

Meet activity, pipeline, and production benchmarks

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, economics, or related field preferred)

Strong competitive drive and desire to be measured on results

Hunter mindset with comfort in outbound sales activity

Coachable, disciplined, and eager to learn commercial finance

Strong communication skills and professional presence

Ability to manage rejection, stay persistent, and execute consistently
