Pediatric Orthopedics Summer Research Intern

Interns will work with clinicians (including physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, athletic trainers, nurse practitioners,
prosthetists, etc.), engineers, and researchers. Clinical research activities include literature reviews, chart reviews, data collection, and
preparation of abstracts and manuscripts. Engineering activities include utilizing and adapting technology as a data tool for clinicians,
encompassing problem solving and optimizing technological tools. All interns will present their research findings during the final week
of the internship. Interns will have the opportunity to shadow various clinical professionals in both a clinic and operating room
environment, participate in a journal club, and attend relevant lectures. Qualifications expected of applicants include proficiency in
writing and a general understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology. Research experience is preferred but not required.
