2026 Novartis Summer Internship – Corporate Communications

The Corporate Communications intern will play a key role in the US Communications and Patient Advocacy teams, providing support across various departmental duties.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of various communication materials such as press releases, social media and web content, and mass emails.
  • Contribute to media strategy and ideation.
  • Support the day-to-day publishing of social media and web content.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of internal events.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and media platforms, relevant news topics, or competitor activities to inform content creation and communication/channel strategies.
  • Provide administrative support to the communications team, such as managing contact lists and organizing archives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in U.S. accredited degree-granting college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree. Communications, Public Relations, Media, Journalism or related fields preferred.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and able to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
  • Have a high degree of organizational skills, including attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of AI tools and how to use them a plus. 

 

Please note that this internship is a fixed-term engagement and does not constitute an offer of employment from Novartis.  Magnit, an external Managed Service Provider, will facilitate the hiring and management for this role.
