Business Development

Our Shelton office is expanding and we are looking for the right candidate to join our team! 
This is an Entry level position for the right candidate -- As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for introducing business prospects within our Shelton territory to the various services that Express Employment provides.  

This is true outside sales - you MUST have a reliable vehicle to conduct these visits and "door knocks" and attend meetings with prospective clients.  


You will work closely with our internal recruiters to strategize and maximize brand awareness to provide staffing needs to local businesses. 


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• no prior sales experience or staffing industry knowledge required
• you have set and accomplished goals in the past – personal or professional
• Be an activist to promote and advocate our brand
• Educate potential business partners on the benefits of partnering with Express
• Commit to achieving results and be excited for new adventures.

THE DAY TO DAY:
•  Identify and qualify potential business leads – who’s hiring and who is in our territory – using our internal territory database and sales planner
• Make daily outside sales door knocks, outbound phone calls, emails and sales visits to introduce Express staffing services to prospects (Metrics will be provided) 
• Conduct sales calls or virtual meetings to discuss Express staffing services.   Through training, you will have a deep understanding of the services we offer to potential clients. 
• Create an organized and systematic system to follow up with prospects who have shown interest.    Use your creativity with marketing campaigns and drop-off ideas.   
• Monitor and report on key metrics, track and report on your sales activities and results which helps management/franchisees and the recruiting team adjust strategies accordingly 


THE OPPORTUNITY:

Base Salary position, PLUS  performance-based commissions, mileage reimbursement, paid holidays, 401(K) after a year and PTO.  Express will provide diverse training and continuous mentorship. 

This is a commission-driven position with a base salary.  The structure is the perfect mix that comes from the comfort of guaranteed income with the possibility that accompanies uncapped, performance-based commission.   Simply put – you set your career path and control your success.
