Sky 3 Entertainment is an independent company based in Nashville, TN offering unpaid remote internships with the option for academic credit. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in gaining experience in the music business to assist in promoting our modern country artist.
An internship with Sky 3 Entertainment will offer students an opportunity to obtain real-world, hands on experience in the music industry. Our internships provide on-the-job experience. Each intern is assigned special projects that will assist in learning how artist promotion operates. Sky 3 Entertainment values its interns and will strive to ensure working with us is a mutually rewarding experience. Out of the area students are welcome to apply, as this position is online social media.
Responsibilities and projects will be assigned depending upon intern’s skills and abilities as follows:
- Coordinate information and communications between artist, band members, staff, interns, and other entities
-Handle management tasks as directed
-Social Media outreach on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other sites.
-Various digital marketing functions
-Create outreach letters/communications for media, radio, venue booking, and other communications
-Contact songwriters, radio stations, TV stations, online blog sites, entertainment venues, and other music industry entities
-Contact Street Team members for more engagement
-Maintain records and documents accurately
-Work in Google documents to update all documents online
-Miscellaneous other tasks and projects
Please keep in mind that this internship is unpaid.
To qualify for an internship with us you must meet the following criteria:
-Be willing to commit 10-15 hours per week, 3-5 days per week, 2-hr per day to Sky 3 Entertainment for a minimum of 3 months. Students are able to receive academic credit for this unpaid learning opportunity.
-Be flexible and versatile; have reliable computer and internet access and be available for video call, by phone and email
-Possess knowledge of Google Docs, Calendars, and spreadsheets
-Have knowledge of MS Office programs; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop a plus
~Be Internet and Social Media proficient (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, Spotify, YouTube, etc.)
~Need outgoing personality and a positive attitude
~Must be capable of working well with others and autonomously
~Be willing to learn and take on more responsibilities
~Possess outstanding time management skills
~Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
~Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and accurate
~If you live in the Nashville area and want to assist at venues and shows, you must have your own transportation and be able to provide a valid driver's license. Interns who opt to assist at venue performances where alcohol is served must be 21+ and cannot drink while working.
