Barry Isett & Associates’ (Isett) paid internship program compliments your academic curriculum with practical experience in your chosen area of study, turning “inside of the classroom” learning into “outside of the classroom” understanding.

Isett has the technical capacity to touch nearly every step of a building design or renovation project – from land design, site development, and environmental site investigations to structure design, building systems, plan review and site inspections. Isett is a “one stop shop” for clients. As an intern, you can experience the start-to-finish project involvement in the design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and replacement of facilities.

We are currently seeking an intern for to join both our Civil Land Development Team and our Municipal Engineering Team. This position has the opportunity to learn from both departments and share your time in both our Scranton office and our Wilkes-Barre location.

Requirements

1. A desire to learn and integrate yourself quickly into the Isett team;
2. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
3. A high school diploma and current enrollment in a two- or four-year college program in a field of study related to services that Isett provides, for example -
