About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and highly creative Content Creator to support multiple music-industry brands in the musical instrument categories. This role blends creativity with strategy: you will develop ideas, plan content, shoot and edit videos, and craft compelling social-first storytelling tailored for each brand’s identity and audience.
The ideal candidate has strong video production skills, a deep understanding of social platforms, and the ability to organize and prioritize work across multiple product lines and brand voices.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and pitch content concepts for each brand with clear strategic reasoning behind every piece.
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content for social media, e-commerce, product launches, artist features, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with brand goals and KPIs.
- Adapt content formats and messaging for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Maintain organized project files, production schedules, and content calendars across several brands.
- Ensure brand consistency while tailoring tone, style, and messaging for each brand’s unique audience.
- Attend shoots, artist sessions, events, and product demonstrations as needed.
- Stay on top of platform trends, music-industry culture, and best practices in social content creation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience creating content for brands, preferably in music, entertainment, instruments, or lifestyle categories.
- Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar).
- Ability to shoot high-quality video and photo content using DSLR/mirrorless cameras and mobile workflows.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, formats, and metrics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple brand priorities simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with the ability to articulate the “why” behind each content idea.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with artists, musicians, or music gear.
- Graphic design basics (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Jira, Asana, or Slack.
- Ability to travel occasionally for shoots, events, or artist content days.
