Copywriting Intern

Copywriting Internship Opportunity – For School Credit Only

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid or Remote) | Type: Part-Time Internship (20–30 hours per week, adjusted based on academic credit requirements)

Mana Common is seeking a Copywriting Intern to support written content across our portfolio of brands, including Mana Common, Mana Wynwood, Mana Tech, Mana Fashion, Mana Hubs, and select properties such as Museum Tower. This internship is for current students only and must be completed in exchange for academic credit.

The Copywriting Intern will work closely with the Mana Common marketing team, gaining hands-on experience in brand-driven copywriting across multiple platforms. All work is completed under supervision and reviewed by marketing leadership to ensure a structured learning environment.

Mentorship & Supervision

The intern will report directly to the Marketing Manager, who will serve as the student’s primary supervisor and mentor throughout the internship. The intern will also have opportunities to collaborate with and learn from other members of the marketing team based on individual interests and goals.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this internship, the student will be able to:

  1. Translate marketing briefs into clear, effective written content, including press-style language, under professional supervision.
  2. Draft and adapt copy to match multiple brand voices within a unified brand ecosystem.
  3. Apply writing techniques across different communication formats, including email, web, social media, and digital advertising.
  4. Understand how copywriting supports overall marketing strategy from a brand perspective.
  5. Tailor a single message for different platforms and audiences while maintaining consistency and intent.
  6. Gain experience working within real-world editorial and approval workflows used by in-house marketing teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing and editing copy for email marketing campaigns across multiple divisions
  • Assisting with news posts published on Mana Common–affiliated websites
  • Drafting copy for LinkedIn posts for Mana Common, Mana Fashion, Mana Tech, and Mana Hubs
  • Supporting ad copy development for digital campaigns
  • Adapting copy to match each brand’s voice while maintaining clarity and consistency

Preferred Majors:

  • Journalism
  • Public Relations
  • English
  • Communications
  • Marketing or related fields

Qualifications:

  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar and tone
  • Comfortable writing for different audiences and platforms
  • Creative thinker with the ability to tailor copy to distinct brand voices
  • Familiarity with AI tools is acceptable, with limited and intentional use
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback
