JOB TITLE: Administrative Support Intern
WORK LOCATION: Fox Valley
POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Support Intern will support the World Relief Wisconsin office with office reception duties and other administrative tasks. The Administrative Support Intern will warmly welcome and assist any guests who enter our doors and carry out basic reception duties. Additional administrative support will include developing informative resources for staff and visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome and greet all World Relief guests and provide on-site support for client and community partner walk-ins as possible, under the guidance of World Relief Wisconsin staff
• Collaborate with Refugee Programs staff to develop resources including a frequently asked questions list and a community resources reference for both staff and visitors
• Maintain organization of reception email inbox and voicemail
• Maintain organization of reception area and ensure supplies are well stocked
• Complete research on creating educational resources for low-literacy populations
• Identify potential opportunities to enhance the reception experience for guests
• Participate in team meetings, volunteer trainings, and other events
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Acknowledgement of the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 preferred
• Cross-cultural experience, sensitivity and/or interest
• Flexibility and creativity
• Strong personal initiative; ability to work independently
• Organized; strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, grow, and be stretched

• This internship is unpaid, but mileage on personal vehicle for position is reimbursed
Compensation:
This internship is part of the Lawrence-Funded internship program. The student selected for this internship will receive a $5k stipend to help cover housing and transportation costs and living expenses.
