Deputy Sheriff

Applicants must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent with a valid POST Certification. We are also accepting applications for Deputy Trainees should you not already be post certified. 

 Applicants must be of good moral character, have no felony or disqualifying misdemeanor convictions, be able to type 30 words per minute, be of appropriate physical and mental health to meet the stringent physical and emotional demands of the profession, and pass pre-employment testing; including but not limited to: written exercise, comprehension examination, fitness test, and be able to pass background checks including drug testing, truth verification examination (CVSA), and final review board. Applicants must be willing to work any shift including weekends.

Applicants should be excellent communicators and highly motivated.
