Seasonal Sponsorship & Ticket Sales Representative

Seasonal Sponsorship & Ticket Sales Representative (Contract)
Boston Event Guide | Winter Seasonal Role (Remote)

Boston Event Guide is looking for motivated, organized, and outgoing individuals to support sponsorship outreach, ticket sales, and event coordination for three of New England’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations: the Resolution Ball at the Westin Copley Place (21+), the Back Bay Ball at the Westin Copley Place Grand Ballroom (30+), and Bally’s 90’s vs. Y2K New Year’s Eve in Rhode Island. This is compensation based winter contract role, and top performers may be considered for future full-time opportunities.

In this role, you’ll reach out to local businesses, brands, and organizations to secure sponsorships, employee perks, and group ticket packages. You’ll also help drive individual and group ticket sales through email, phone, social media messaging, and networking. We provide working databases and outreach lists that include affinity groups such as adult sports leagues, salons, gyms, social clubs, alumni groups, and larger regional and national companies, including alcohol and beverage brands. Along with working these lists, you will research and add new companies and groups for outreach.

Key areas of focus include:

Sponsorship outreach and partner relationship building

Group and individual ticket sales

Outreach tracking, follow-up, and reporting

Light marketing, vendor, and sponsor coordination

Daily hours are flexible, and our team holds quick 9:00 AM check-in meetings Monday through Friday to touch base, share updates, set goals for the day, and answer any questions. These meetings are meant to be supportive and collaborative, and we try to keep them flexible around everyone’s schedules. Participating in day-of New Year’s Eve event operations is optional. If you choose to help on-site with guest check-in, sponsor activations, or general event support, that time is paid at $25 per hour, in addition to commissions.

Compensation is commission-based, with 10 percent on ticket sales (up to $30,000 total available) and 10 percent on sponsorship sales (up to $20,000 total available across all events). Prior experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, or events is helpful but not required.
