Position Overview

The Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to lead and support our youth programs. The ideal candidate is outgoing, trustworthy, flexible, and highly organized, with a passion for community service and youth empowerment. This role requires someone who can take initiative, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement youth programs, workshops, and community events.
• Act as the face of CCC at events organized by both external and prospective partners.
• Help recruit volunteers, manage program logistics, and evaluate program outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor youth participants, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and families.
• Track program participation, evaluate outcomes, and write reports
• Assist with grant search and writing to support youth initiatives.
• Assist with outreach, marketing, and social media.
• Support organizational events, community meetings, and workshops 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Support fundraising and community initiatives as needed.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, social work, or related field.
• Experience with youth or community programs preferred.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Flexible, organized, able to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Quick learner and computer-savvy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media).
• Ability to work with diverse audiences and age groups.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
