Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass seeks interns who have an active
interest in the visual arts and/or art history. Our internships provide
valuable, hands-on experience working behind-the-scenes at an
American Alliance of Museums accredited institution.
Digital Media & Records Intern
Intern Duties
• Photograph/video record exhibits, events, and classes at the Museum.
• Create social media posts, especially Stories/Reels for Facebook and Instagram
• Assistance with taking pictures and uploading products to Shopify
• Assistance with digital inventory (Square) and digital event prep (Catching Fire)
• Using collections records and database and registration lexicon and style guide,
development of catalog lists for research and curatorial purposes.
Compensation:
This internship is part of the Lawrence-Funded internship program. The student selected for this internship will receive a $5k stipend to help cover housing and transportation costs and living expenses.
