Custom Machine & Tool Co., Inc. is a growing manufacturer of motion control and power transmission components, specializing in timing pulleys and related motion control products. We work with customers across a wide range of industrial markets and take pride in practical problem-solving, teamwork, and long-term relationships.

Role Overview
As an Entry-Level Marketing / Inside Sales Associate, you will work closely with experienced sales and engineering professionals to support customer accounts, assist with marketing initiatives, and learn the fundamentals of industrial sales. You’ll gain exposure to technical products, customer interactions, and the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing business.
This is a full-time, in-office (non-remote) position.
What You’ll Do
- Support existing customer accounts by assisting with communication, follow-ups, and basic product inquiries.
- Learn how to identify and develop new business opportunities through research and outreach.
- Maintain customer and sales activity records using CRM software or spreadsheets.
- Assist with preparing and sharing marketing materials, product information, and company updates.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and applications to better understand the power transmission market.
- Help track sales activity and prepare simple reports for internal use.
- Support trade show planning and attend events as opportunities arise.
What We’re Looking For
- Current senior or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or a related field.
- Interest in sales, marketing, manufacturing, or industrial products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable learning technical concepts and asking questions.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus but not required.
