Education Navigator (Youth) - Milwaukee,WI
Maximus is hiring an enthusiastic and community-focused Education Navigator to join our WI Works (W-2) Program team. This onsite position is based in our Milwaukee, WI office.
As an Education Navigator, you will play a key role in helping young people access essential educational resources, attend money management workshops, and connect with critical support services. This is a highly interactive position that requires energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for engaging with people throughout the community.
** This position is onsite at our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm CST with some Saturdays.**

- Conduct outreach presentations to recipients and community members as needed.- Present program education and enrollment options to recipients
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with community leaders and serve as a liaison with various constituents
- Act as a point of contact for these agencies to work out issues or help certain cases moving through the enrollment process
- Serve as liaison between multiple training providers when necessary to benefit our clients
- Develop and Promote knowledge of community and participate in community events, other activities as needed
- Represent the program at local events
- Maintain a strong presence in the community and build positive relationships with partnering organizations
- Ensure reliable transportation for community travel and outreach efforts
- Contribute to a dynamic, energetic team environment, bringing creativity and a passion for development to all aspects of the role
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of experience
- A strong background in coordination, particularly related to events or programs
- Associates degree
- Experience in advocacy and outreach, especially involving disadvantaged populations
- A high level of motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive, community-focused mindset and passion for public service
- Reliable transportation to support regular travel within the community
