Dermatology Medical Assistant

Office in Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida, seeking full or part-time employees for clinical APRN, MD, or PA hours. Previous medical assisting experience recommended but not required;  will train upon hire.

POSITION: Dermatology Medical Assistant 

LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL

JOB SUMMARY: Provide service to patients and the physician by assisting with dermatology exams, procedures, surgeries, and charting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Chart patient notes in EMR system.
• Assist with patient care.
• Assist the physician with skin exams, biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, and cosmetic procedures.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Interest in dermatology and dermatological surgery
