Summary: Responsible for development and implementation of physical education curricula and fitness programming for all students grades Pre-K through 12 under the supervision of Physical Education Lead Teacher

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement Physical Education Curriculum in accordance with guidelines identified by local education agencies
- Plan, teach, and modify Physical education and fitness classes across all programs
- Develop and support programs to enhance the physical development of all students
- Oversee equipment inventory and routine maintenance
- Oversee monitoring and maintenance of locker rooms
- Organize and plan end of year physical education events
- Collaborate with the transportation team to oversee and support student arrival and dismissal
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with Autistic students or other related disorders
- Experience creating lesson plans
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to communicate effectively through spoken and written language with students, colleagues and parents/guardians
- High energy and a consistently positive attitude that fosters a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Ability to actively participate in physical education classes and programs and to assist children with movement as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills
