Research Associate – Genomics & Neuroscience
The laboratory of Dr. Gilad Evrony, MD PhD at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms by which genetic mutations arise in the body and to identifying the origins of brain tumors.
The lab is focused on creating foundational new technologies for genomics and neuroscience in order to answer these questions, especially single-molecule and single-cell genomics technologies.
This position will be responsible for conducting independent basic research conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Evrony and senior laboratory scientists. This position is suitable for building a portfolio of research accomplishments in preparation for applying to medical or graduate school.
