Operations Analyst — Linear B Partners LP

Linear B Partners, a credit hedge fund manager based in New York City, is seeking an Operations Analyst to support daily trading and investment workflows. This is an entry level role open to recent graduates interested in asset management, financial markets, data, and technology.

Job Functions Include:

  • Capture and reconcile daily trades across credit products
  • Monitor settlements, positions, and trade breaks with brokers and counterparties
  • Support daily P&L, risk, and exposure reporting
  • Assist with fund accounting and core control processes
  • Project oriented work on internal databases and tools
  • Collaborate with senior operations and technology teams on workflow enhancement

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate or 0–3 years of experience
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Solid Excel skills; SQL and Python helpful
  • Interest in markets and operations
  • Clear communicator who enjoys problem solving
  • Location: New York City
