Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in a wide range of immigration matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in the immigration law field. No prior legal or immigration experience is required, and full training will be provided.  

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities: 

• Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation
• Draft basic correspondence and prepare forms 
• Prepare and assemble application or petition packets for filing
• Organize, scan, and maintain case files
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take detailed messages 
• Schedule client meetings and consultations
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
