Arboretum Internship
Haverford College Arboretum is looking to hire 1-4 summer interns specializing in horticulture and all aspects of garden management. Interns will receive hands-on training and perform duties listed below:
- Perform all phases of work pertaining to horticultural management of the Arboretum (weeding, watering, pruning, equipment operation, etc.)
- Assist in Arboretum event setup and help lead at least one Arboretum tour/educational program
- Participate in Arboretum project days which may have a grounds management or horticultural focus
- Participate in all intern sessions as scheduled (typically weekly trips/educational sessions and curator-led plant ID walks)
- Complete an intern project over the duration of the internship
