Retail Sales Associate

North Star Sports is looking for both both part-time and full time sales positions

What you'll do:

- Welcome all customers genuinely and in a timely fashion.

- Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.

- Assist multiple customers by assessing needs, prioritizing the level of service each requires, and providing personal service interactions.

- Effectively help prepare the store: maintains and stocks work areas making sure all items are accurately priced and displayed.

- Actively promote outdoor activities and their benefits to customers.

- Additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

- Experience in retail sales and/or customer interactions. (A huge plus but not mandatory)

- Effective communication skills

- Lift up to 50 pounds

Who is North Star Sports?

-North Star Sports is one of Vermont's largest bike dealers. We specialize in Full Suspension Mountain Bikes, Gravel Bikes and Ebikes. Many tourists visit us in the summer to rent bikes. We have been in business for 40+ years. Our busy season is April - September.

-We are a small, fun team that supports each other. (Yes ,this includes furry friends; we have 3 dogs that work with us every day).

-We are centrally located 2 blocks away from Church Street, on the corner of Main Street and Pine Street. The location makes walking, biking and driving to work easy.
