IT Infrastructure Technician

This is a fully on-site role. Candidates must live within one hour of Hanover or be willing to relocate. Remote work is not available.

About the Role

The IT Infrastructure Technician provides on-site support for users, hardware, software, and the local network environment at our Hanover plant. This role is central to keeping systems running smoothly and supporting employees with technical issues. You will work closely with a small IT team and gain hands-on experience across many areas of infrastructure support.

 

What You Will Do

  • Provide daily hardware and software support for on-site users
  • Troubleshoot PCs, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues
  • Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and user accounts
  • Support Windows operating systems and basic server related tasks under guidance
  • Assist with patching, updates, system maintenance, and documentation
  • Participate in IT projects and improvement initiatives
  • Rotate on an after-hours on-call schedule for on-site support when needed

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical training required
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Comfort with hands-on troubleshooting
  • Clear communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to two years of help desk or technical support experience
  • Interest in growing within infrastructure support
  • Recent IT graduates or IT students nearing graduation are encouraged to apply

 

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, first shift, on-site
  • Rotating on-call support for after-hours needs
