Event Planning Intern

Part-Time Student Internship | Miami-Based | Sports + Community Events**

6 Love Sports (6LS) is the fastest-growing women’s padel community in the United States, dedicated to elevating, empowering, and connecting women through sport. We deliver leagues, tournaments, clinics, networking events, and international padel experiences—all with one mission: to grow women’s padel and build meaningful community on and off the court.

We are seeking a Part-Time Event Intern in Miami to support our weekly events, help shape new 6LS experiences, and grow alongside our dynamic, high-energy community.

 

Role Overview

The Event Intern will assist with the planning and execution of all 6 Love Sports events—from weekly league nights and clinics to larger tournaments, sponsor activations, and community initiatives.

This role is perfect for a college student who loves sports, enjoys working with people, and wants hands-on experience in event management, sports marketing, community building, and brand activations.

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and enthusiastic about being part of a fast-growing sports brand.

 

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Operations

  • Support logistics, timelines, and coordination for weekly padel events, clinics, and special activations
  • Assist with on-site set-up, check-in, guest support, and event flow
  • Help brainstorm and refine event formats and new 6LS concepts

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Assist in communicating with venues, vendors, coaches, photographers, and service providers
  • Help coordinate catering, equipment needs, and partner activations

Goodie Bags, Merch & Procurement

  • Support sourcing of items for goodie bags, welcome packs, and sponsor activations
  • Assist with merchandising tasks, inventory, and brand consistency at events

Community & Communication Support

  • Help with guest communications, RSVPs, WhatsApp/event updates, and player support
  • Coordinate with content creators to gather photos/videos after events
  • Assist with recap messaging and follow-ups

 

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Interest in sports, events, community engagement, or marketing
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A great communicator who enjoys interacting with people
  • Comfortable working some evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with padel or tennis is a plus but not required
  • Energetic, reliable, proactive, and excited to be part of a fast-paced community
