Main Front-End Engineer (React + UI/UX)

About the Role

ProMed Health Plus is building one of the most advanced conservative-care + wound-care digital platforms in the industry.
We are now entering Phase 2 of our provider portal and need a Main Front-End Engineer to architect, build, and own the entire front-end experience.

This is a high-impact role where you will define the UX, UI, and component architecture that thousands of providers will use daily.

You will work directly with the founders, Medical Director, and engineering leadership to bring clean, fast, intuitive workflows to life — including AI-assisted features.

What You’ll Own

As the primary front-end engineer, you will:

Architect and build the front-end for the ProMed Provider Portal

Lead all UI/UX implementation using React + TypeScript + Tailwind

Develop a scalable design system + component library from scratch

Translate Figma wireframes into polished, production-ready UI

Build intuitive UX for onboarding, forms, dashboards, and clinical workflows

Optimize for performance, accessibility, and SEO

Collaborate with backend engineers (Django/MySQL) to ship integrated features

Implement WCAG-aligned UI and robust responsive layouts

Create micro-interactions and UX patterns that reduce friction for providers

Contribute to product direction and UX strategy

(Bonus) Build predictive UX and AI-assisted workflows
— smart forms, note validations, guided billing flows, autofill, etc.

You will be the front-end authority on the team.

Ideal Candidate

You are a strong engineer with the ability to take UI/UX vision and translate it into production-quality software.

1-2 years experience in front-end engineering

Deep React + TypeScript experience

Strong understanding of UX fundamentals, spacing, hierarchy, accessibility

Experience building or maintaining a design system

Startup mindset: fast iteration, ownership, crisp communication

Portfolio/GitHub demonstrating real shipped work

Able to turn complex workflows into clean user experiences

Comfortable collaborating across product, design, and backend teams

This is NOT a junior or mid-level role — you will lead the front-end.
