BAS Programmer/Technician
Position Summary:
Full-time position is responsible for generating programming and graphics databases for field implementation and leading the commissioning process to completion. They will work with the engineering and operations team to utilize, maintain and improve internal standards to achieve operational excellence.
Duties:
- Utilize conversion tools, virtual systems and company standards to generate programming and graphic databases for new construction, expansion, retrofit and migration projects
- Commission and re-commission of projects to ensure quality
- Support our technicians and customers remotely and/or in the field as required to ensure our customers are properly serviced
- Review engineering drawings as part of a team to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
- Help identify opportunities for improvement for our customers and our organization
- Provide technical support and training to sales staff, customers and technicians
- Participates as an integral part of our internal standards development team
- Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of related experience or training highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Proven skills and experience with line and/or block programming required
- Experience with Tridium, Schneider Electric products, Alerton, Johnson, TRANE or Automated Logic preferred
- Experience with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls required
- Proactive mindset with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment
