Kindergarten Enrichment Lead Teacher Summer 2026

Are you a dynamic Kindergarten / Pre-K / Early Childhood lead teacher looking for a fun summer opportunity? Challenge Camp would like to talk to you. 

Our Pre-K program is for children rising to Kindergarten in Fall 2026 and is designed to encourage the development of creative thinking skills through stimulating experiences incorporating language, reading, math and science concepts as well as drawing, painting and imaginative play. History, animals, creative expression and the world of science and mathematics will come alive through our thematic approach.

Challenge Camp is an ACA accredited summer day camp at Iona University in New Rochelle celebrating our 46th year of offering summer enrichment learning opportunities for creative children. Our program runs from 9AM - 4PM and is divided into 2 Sessions, June 39 - July 24 and July 27 - August 14. For our Pre-K program, we are seeking a half day (9AM – Noon) instructor(s) for the full 7 weeks. There is also an option to instruct additional enrichment classes in the afternoons.

Qualified candidates should have a background in Education, a Teachers License or Certification, or Lead Teacher experience and a desire to work with highly motivated learners.
