Optometric Technician

We are an independent practice looking for the right individual to join our team.

The optometric technician is key for keeping patient flow efficient, assisting the optometrist by conducting pre-screenings and testing prior to the Doctor’s examination. This position does not require experience.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

Job duties include:

  • Ensuring high quality patient care.
  • Maintaining a professional atmosphere and appearance of doctor’s office and pretest room.
  • Explain to the patient the types of preliminary examinations.
  • Performing and recording patient preliminary testing.

Schedule

2-3 Week days PLUS Saturdays. Must be available for a full shift.

SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED - Employee will have 1 Saturday off per month.

Office Hours:

Monday-Friday 9:30-6:30

Saturday 9:30-5:30
