QA Automation Testing Intern

Internship Summary:

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking motivated and dedicated interns to contribute to our team. Our internship program will last approximately 10-weeks. You will have the opportunity to work on projects and showcase your skills, talents, and abilities. Job Responsibilities:

Are you interested in working in a growing organization? We are looking for candidates to do the following in our Automation Testing team in Houston:

  • What you will do:
    • Shadow and assist team members under guidance in creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and API applications.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging test failures and identifying root causes.
    • Participate in learning and assisting with the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Behave).
    • Document test cases, processes, and procedures, and assist in preparing test reports and summaries.
    • Collaborate with QA team members on assigned tasks for automation projects and initiatives, contributing to learning opportunities and gaining practical experience.
    • Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve application quality.
    • Participate in meetings with QA and development teams to understand requirements and provide updates on testing progress.

Project(s):

You will have the opportunity to lead a project that consists of building and enhancing automated testing capabilities for the QA organization

  • Developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Working with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Assisting in continuous integration and test execution processes.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA (out of a 4.0-point scale)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Interns will have opportunities to prepare and facilitate presentations and communicate with operational leaders
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Must live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Houston, TX
