Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - EFDA

Well-established General Dentist in PA is looking for a skilled and experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team.   
Candidate will work efficiently and would provide a positive experience for our patients.   
You should also have strong patient skills, be well-organized, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.    
  
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures

• Chart and take dental radiographs (X-rays)

• Make temporary crown/bridges, place fillings, perform denture adjustments

• Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures

• Prepare and break down operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit

• Maintain accurate patient records

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, with some exceptions.   
    
Schedule:   
• Monday to Friday 
• No nights   
• No weekends   
   
Qualifications 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Strong computer and data entry skills 
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care 
  
License/Certification:

• Current radiography certification required

• Current EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification required
