Community Outreach Coordinator
The Community Outreach Coordinator will strengthen neighborhood engagement by connecting residents to programs, services, and supportive resources. This position is designed for recent university graduates seeking hands-on experience in communication, project coordination, and community development. Candidates will build practical skills, contribute to meaningful initiatives, and gain exposure to nonprofit operations.
Responsibilities
• Engage and assist Seniors with the community with their shopping task
• Conduct field outreach to engage residents, nonprofits, civic groups, and youth organizations.
• Maintain positive relationships with community members, volunteers, and service partners.
• Collect and report feedback to support program planning and improvement.
• Assist in digital outreach including email campaigns, social media posts, and awareness materials.
• Support the creation of flyers, briefs, and event summaries.
• Track participation metrics and submit weekly status updates.
• Provide logistical and administrative support across outreach initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Recent graduate or final-year university student in social sciences, communications, public health, education, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage time, and work independently.
• Basic proficiency with Google Workspace, email platforms, and social media tools.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-moving environment.
