Private Music Teacher

Irvine Academy of Music is currently looking for instructors for Violin, Viola, Cello, Voice, Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Woodwinds and Brass.

Private Music Teacher Job Description:

-You will need to plan individual lessons and overall schemes of work for your pupils; Students range in age from 5 years through adult.

- teach individual lessons lasting from 30 minutes to an hour, usually incorporating elements of general musicianship, such as ear training and theory, as well as instrumental/vocal technique and interpretation;

-develop your knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their musical development;

-communicate with parents about their child's lessons and progress;

-prepare pupils for performances, examinations, auditions and recitals;

Compensation

Pay scale will vary in accordance with experience and education. University students currently enrolled in a music major program are encouraged to apply. When your degree major is achieved and/or experience level increases, pay scale also increases.
