Physical Education/Health Teacher - Leave Replacement

Full-Time, Leave Replacement

Avon-by-the-Sea School District is a one building district serving approximately 120 students in grades PreK through Grade Eight. We are in search of a Physical Education/Health Teacher Leave Replacement for an immediate need on or about February 27, 2026. Applicants must possess the required certification and demonstrate a successful track record of exceptional instructional pedagogy, advanced technology skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across many platforms. 


 

Job Description:

Required NJ Certification:

  • Elementary School Teacher K-6 (1001)
  • Teacher of Health and PE (1605)

Desired Experience:

  • Data-driven process for planning and instruction 
  • Ability to differentiate to meet various levels of need and ability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support student success
  • Success with integrating technology as a tool for instructional design and learning

Salary range is established by the negotiated contract between the Avon-by-the-Sea Board of Education and the Avon Education Association.
