RF Engineer – Join our innovative team at NSWCDD, Dahlgren, Virginia, as an RF Engineer where you'll work on cutting-edge RF/Spectrum Engineering in wireless tactical networks. You'll design and develop custom solutions, perform waveform development, and manage spectrum and frequency resources. Your role will also include system design, performance verification, electromagnetic environment (EME) assessments, and technical analysis for DoD systems, including surface vessels and submarines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related STEM field
- Proficiency in RF Modeling and Simulation, MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and FPGA programming
- Experience with networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, UART), embedded systems, and software-defined radios (SDR)
- Ability to design and integrate RF transmitters/receivers, develop real-time Linux applications, and design PCBs
