Classroom Technology Assistant

Classroom Technology Services Student Assistant. Looking for a candidate with strong verbal communication skills who is punctual and able to problem-solve. The position involves the candidate assisting faculty & staff with tech-enhanced classrooms. This includes turning on the room computer, turning on the projector system and making sure that the instructor gets logged in properly. Additionally, they would be responsible for very light tech support in classrooms as well as the occasional delivery of audio-video equipment to rooms. While a background with computers and media projectors is plus, THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE TRAINED. 

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
